Minimum Qualifications:


  • Associate degree in Construction Management or Architectural technology or related field highly desired
  • 2+ years of experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Familiar with detailed fixed price estimates and possesses the ability to use RS Means or other published unit price books
  • Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, estimating, and scheduling software
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
  • Strong knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of architectural, civil, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering
  • Possess effective negotiating skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include clear, concise and professional presentation of information
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a team environment


Scope of Responsibility:
Computer aided design management of projects. Will coordinate with project managers for AutoCAD design drawings for architectural, electrical, mechanical and engineering design. Will manage multiple projects and assists with project scheduling as it relates to design. Will include field changes as they occur, red line mark ups and as build drawings upon project completion.
Position Duties:
  • Assist in managing delivery order execution in accordance with contract requirements and project management procedures
  • Attend pre-issuance site visits with project managers for each job order to review existing conditions and to determine client needs in detail
  • Assist Project Manager in developing the project scope of work as it relates to project design;includes preliminary approximations of the types of materials to be used and basic quantity counts construction, progress and other project meetings; and distribute minutes
  • Assist in project close-out by obtaining required documentation, assisting with pre-final inspections and As-Built drawings
  • Responsible for notifying supervisor if an HSEQ infraction is observed
  • Ensure compliance with Centennial’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and procedures along with all local requirements (OSHA, USACE EM385.1.1, etc.)
  • Performance of the required job duties will be in an office environment along with visits to sites that are under construction which may include various weather conditions.

  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
