Programmer Analyst – C#, .NET, SQL – Business Apps

Software Engineer supporting enterprise business applications. Provide application development and support in C#, SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS supporting business applications – ECM, BPM, Records Management (RM) application, and financial compliance applications. Maintenance development in C#, SQL Server, SSIS, API’s, REST web services, ESB/SOA interfaces, ETL (SSIS/Informatica), AES/PGP encryption, and FTP transmissions for production applications including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, solution design, development, testing, and implementation. Production application support and development of new feature requests, bug fixes, security, automation, and process improvements – at the UI / web, validation, server, database, ETL, reporting tiers.

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Programming, support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for 10-20 business applications like OpenText eDOCS OpenText, document management, FTP, etc)
  • Design, develop, test and implement C# and SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS ETL) and BI (SSRS, Tableau) code for Business Applications, Document Management, Records Management.
  • Programming support in C#, .NET, .NET core, API, REST Web Services, ASP.NET, .NET Core.
  • Develop C#, API, REST Web Service integrations with SOA, ESB, Web Services layers.
  • Develop data loading tools using SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and Informatica.
  • Develop and update BI Analytic reports using SSRS and Tableau.
  • C#, API, Rest WS, SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, etc. Develop SSIS and SSRS integration and reporting.
  • Develop C# REST API integration for connectivity to and from the enterprise service bus (ESB) SOA platform. Familiar with API End Points, Parameters, Payload (JSON/XML)
  • Provide Application Support including coding, troubleshooting, problem correction, testing, and promotion to the production environment. Analyzes root cause of application issues and facilitates resolution by coordinating with the vendor, internal IT and users as appropriate.
  • Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, coding software fixes, testing, and implementing solutions.
  • Troubleshooting integration issues with KoFax, eDOCS, Bulk Filer, MS Exchange
  • Work with vendors to resolve functionality and technical integration issues
  • Actively monitor, log and respond to production application incidents.
  • Collect and document data on application performance problems and failures.
  • Codes, tests, debugs and installs the program customizations and fixes in coordination with computer operations and Risk and Compliance business user groups.
  • Communicate openly with customer service for user requests and issues submitted, by providing timely updates and resolutions to request/issues.
  • Work with a team of developers and analyst and with other teams to provide accurate and secure solutions for highly sensitive data (Risk and Compliance).

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years Software Engineering, application or development support – .NET, C#, SQL, SSIS, SSRS/Tableau.
  • C# .NET experience – developing and customizing C# API’s, REST, JSON/XML.
  • T-SQL, SQL Server SSIS, Informatica/other ETL tool. for data integration up/downstream apps and reporting.
  • SSRS/ Tableau or other BI reporting tools
  • App Support Dev experience: prod monitor, troubleshooting, root cause, resolution, solution design, dev, test.
  • Experience with financial systems and transactions – ACH, Wires, ICL, Check Processing
  • Knowledge of automated job scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys and Unix.
  • Windows batch PowerShell scripting and/or UNIX shell scripting experience.
  • Source Code Control tools experience: Microsoft Team Foundation Server, GIT, VSS, PVCS.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience
  • Strong AGILE life cycle (SDLC) – backlogs, sprints, standups, burn downs – Agile, Scrum, SAFe.
