Job Description

The Company:

ColorArt LLC http://ColorArt.com/ a National Print, Marketing, and Logistics Service Provider is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) in its Amarillo, TX facility. The BDR position is an individual contributor role, responsible for strategically partnering with existing clients and new customers to increase new revenue, encourage repeat business and ensure the organization consistently meets or exceeds revenue targets. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Job Description:

The position requires heavy outbound calling responsibilities as well as handling inbound calls. The customer interfacing will result in the incumbent or applicant is responsible for resolving issues such as requests for quotations, lead times, order placement, expediting, changes in quotes, writing orders, and communicating pertinent information to all necessary parties.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must perform with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Create and manage marketing campaigns targeting newly discovered leads.
  • Market research to identify growth opportunities in our existing accounts.
  • Identify decision-makers amongst the targeted leads to initiate and close the sale.
  • Grow sales profitably targeting new business/prospecting activity as well as cold calling/prospecting.
  • Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects in CRM tool (Salesforce.com)
  • Develop working relationships with customers through regular contact and communication.
  • Providing product function/benefits
  • Providing customers with product samples and/or conduct mailings as needed
  • Participating fully in product training sessions, meetings, skills training, and professional development classes.
  • Solve actual and potential problems and address account complaints.
  • Complete normal business reports as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To Be Successful, you will need to be:

  • Comfortable/effective making sales cold calls
  • Able to cultivate relationships, establish rapport and develop credibility with customers and co-workers
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Minimum Job Requirements

  • 1 year of relevant work or internship experience in customer service, retail, sales

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, marketing, or equivalent
  • Experience using CRM tool is a plus (Salesforce.com)

Additional Information

  • No Travel required
  • Must be able to report in-person to the facility office per schedule
