We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager, Turnarounds Petrochemical & Refining to be based in New Orleans, LA. The Business Development Manager, Turnarounds PCR will provide an internal and external business development function to locate and evaluate potential new investment opportunities that are central to the company’s strategic plan.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of experience
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the industry
  • Ability to travel as necessary

  • Responsible for annual development of sales & marketing budget and plan in coordination with company budget and strategy
  • Spend majority of time targeting, developing and maintaining favorable relationship with new and existing events accounts that are in alignment with personal and company goals and strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate customer needs, develop customer relationships and implement sales strategies to progress events customer relationships
  • Design and implement marketing plan and sales programs which focus on external as well as internal “awareness” of targeted sectors or national accounts, promote new markets and improve competitive position.
  • Ensure that organizational goods or services consistently meet customer needs.
  • Conduct customer workshops to facilitate understanding of opportunities.
  • Develop business by representing and selling products and services in the assigned business industry.
  • Monitor and provide support data on competitors' activity in markets and areas.
  • Maintain knowledge of Aggreko equipment and applications.
  • Develop best business practices sharing across all areas.
  • Conduct site surveys, review blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates for client's applications.
  • Submit or propose changes in equipment, designs, or use of materials or services, which would result in cost reduction, or improvement in operations.
  • Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Produce sales or service contracts for products or services.
  • Provide on-site management of projects during the installation, operation and removal of equipment.
