Position Summary

The candidate will support the Strategy & Business Development function for Workplace Solutions Group (“WSG”), a division of MS Virtual Client Solutions, which includes the platforms through which stock plan participants and the Firm’s mass affluent clients access the Firm’s Wealth Management products, services and advice. Virtual Client Solutions provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. Virtual Client Solutions’ Financial Advisors, Services & Operations Associates and Managers are based in 5 primarily call centers across the US as well as several outside of the US.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the service-to-sales model and other business development initiatives as identified by the WSG leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communications, critical thinking and interpersonal skills. A firm understanding of the Wealth Management business and sales are critical to the success of this role.


Key accountabilities for this role include the following:

  • Execute, drive and support business building initiatives in partnership with WSG leadership
  • Help continuously optimize WSG service-to-sales model aimed for growth
  • Drive engagement across service teams to reach WSG-wide established objectives
  • Facilitate service-to-sales training for newly onboarded / registered service professionals
  • Monitor quality & stay on top of reporting of service-to-sales activity across WSG
  • Support WSG Next Best Action program and outreach
  • Collaborate with other on-site Business Development Managers

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience including significant experience in Wealth Management
  • Bachelor degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with all levels of management
  • Must possess Financial Services industry experience, knowledge of industry trends, competitive advantages, and brokerage product offerings
  • Strong strategic planning, finance, conceptual design, collaborative, sales and organizational skills
