Job Description
Job DescriptionTCS BFSI Platforms provides best in class Third Party Administration (TPA) Services for Life Insurance, Annuities, Retirement Services and Supplemental Health customers. The Capability is powered by a modern digital platform.TCS is looking for experienced business development executives / sales directors to join the North America Sales team for creating and executing business development strategies to acquire target insurance and annuities clients for TCS BFSI Platforms (TPA services). Candidate(s) will play a hunter role, responsible for acquiring new clients for TCS within US and Canada. The role works in collaboration with BFSI Platforms Sales, Marketing and Solution teams. Responsibilities
  • Achieve quarterly and annual targets for TCV and Revenue
  • Achieve lead generation, prospecting and other business development goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals with senior management at targeted firms
  • Work in close collaboration with TCS’ market development, sales and solution sales teams to ensure that proposed offerings and services fully meet customers’ business and technology needs.
  • Provide support to customers during initial phases of an engagement. Follow up and ensure total client satisfaction through the life cycle of the relationship.
  • Support the team’s market research and competitive positioning analysis in partnership with presales, marketing, and product development staff.
  • Adhere to all TCS business development, human resource, and corporate ethical policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility and
trust.
Qualifications:
  • Strong business development (hunter) profile with proven track record of success in selling life insurance, annuities, retirement services TPA solutions / Products within US geography
  • Experience in building strong relationships with CxOs of insurers within US. Expects to have few strong pre-existing relationships built over the previous jobs
  • Strong understanding of life insurance and annuities domain. Keeps track of latest industry trends and predictions. Creates or modifies sales strategies based on industry trends/predictions
  • At least 12-15 years of experience in selling similar solutions / products / services in the region, preferably working in leading TPAs / Products firms / Services firms with prior experience of working with offshore teams.
  • Selling experience with one or more of the TPA solutions / products like ALIP, OIPA, FAST, SE2, McCarnish is preferred
  • Strong local contact base and access to alumni, local associations, industry associations within the region.
