The Business Development Coordinator will act as the liaison between Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs. Responsibilities include development and promotion of home health programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care and maximizing human, financial and equipment resources. Responsibilities:
  • Provides counsel to the Agency regarding needs of the community; program development including personnel needs and financial needs.
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state and federal laws relating to of the operations of the agency.
  • Lead the direction of programs through collaboration with administrative and supervisory personnel.
  • Establishes a public relations program for interpretation of the agency’s services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies
  • Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to travel locally; th abiliety to work a flexible schedule; some exposure to unpleasant weather
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate, graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred.
  • Experience in the health care arena preferred.
  • 1 year of home health marketing experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of office machines preferred, computer skills required, excellent interpersonal and organizational skill.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay and professional public, the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Medical Director.
  • Works effectively under heavy responsibilities to handle stressful situations
