The Business Analytics and Insights team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented Business Analytics and Insights Manager to own defining, building, and scaling metrics and analytical insights to support market distribution strategies. In this role, you will proactively engage with senior leaders across the organization to define reporting priorities and ensure we are tackling the most important business problems and surfacing the best data and information to make optimal business decisions across all business and technology programs. You will establish relationships with key stakeholders such as Sales, Business Development, Operations, Data Engineers, and others to build self-service reports, develop meaningful KPIs, provide actionable insights, and establish automated processes for large scale data analyses. You will be a business partner to key stakeholders to provide data expertise and customer insights to drive business results.

Role and Responsibilities:

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE, DATA AND ANALYTICS

  • Design and develop insightful analytics’ deliverables via a variety of techniques including requirements gathering, data profiling, data analysis, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, use case definition, data visualization, and data storytelling .
  • Build solutions using modern data wrangling, analysis, and visualization tools and define required supporting data architecture (e.g., reporting aggregates, data layer, data mart).
  • Collaborate with both business and IT partners to identify key use cases and define associated requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership, best practices, and standards required to deliver effective and sustainable solutions to our customers and stakeholders
  • Manage development and operationalization of critical dashboard solutions to provide business insights to several audiences at different levels of the organization
  • Deliver key inputs to the overall data journey of the enterprise data and insights landscape
  • Define the analytics’ toolkit roadmap, across the organization
  • Support a variety of revenue, productivity, cost and other impactful initiatives through complex data modeling, sampling, and analysis projects that have applicability across geographical boundaries and customer segments
  • Build relationships across the enterprise working with other business, product, technology teams for insights and best practice sharing
  • Lead a continuous learning environment with respect to utilizing the latest methodologies, technologies, and illustrative best practices to tell stories that can drive business decisions
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize the highest impact analytics and data initiatives
  • Drive data infrastructure operational excellence through optimization of data models and service, working closely with Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists

STRATEGY, INSIGHTS AND ANALYTICS

  • Thought leader and influencer on distribution strategy and execution ensuring all teams are delivering validated and integrated insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence for the business
  • Provide the appropriate insights, analytics, and launch readiness requirements for major launches
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to transition knowledge to the business and identify opportunities for synergized learning plans
  • Deliver analytics and insights to drive enhanced sales execution across channels, customer segments and geographies and inform platform content, digital innovation, and measurements
  • Collaborate with Business, Technology and Digital Experience Leadership teams in the application and throughput of capabilities tied to strategic business issues including customer content, digital innovation, and measurement of results

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience (data analytics, data warehousing, customer insights, and business intelligence) with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
  • Strong data modeling experience; strong analytic / problem solving capabilities
  • Strong experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau and/or Periscope, and Google Suite
  • Ability to draw conclusions from large amounts of data and summarize findings in concise manner
  • Detail oriented with ability to produce accurate work quickly & efficiently
  • Good project management and training skills
  • Ability to comprehend and sell concepts within the context of Sales and Brand Partnerships
  • Ability to learn and apply different software applications
  • Understanding of application of primary and secondary research to drive recommendations and enhance strategic nature of partnerships
  • Leadership skills in identification of and addressing business opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives
  • Experience working directly with business and technical teams in an Agile Dev Opps environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Excellent data extraction, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in data visualization tools or storytelling
  • Agile mindset with an eye toward real-time data analyses that provide quick business insights in simple and business consumer-friendly formats
  • Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills for effective and efficient problem solving
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Julia, MATLAB, Minitab, pandas) and database languages (e.g., Splunk, SQL), a plus
  • Expertise in statistics, probability theory, and machine learning, a plus
