Job Description

Ziegler Lumber Co. is the home improvement price and service leader in the Inland Northwest, with six retail locations. We pride ourselves for exceptional customer service and accuracy throughout the life cycle of a project: from first estimate, order placement, and project closing. The right person will foster and build relationships through a tailored approach that caters to the needs of all our valued customers. You will work full-circle, from the start of each project to the finishing touches, to ensure materials are ordered and delivered as promised.
Some of your job duties will include:
Prepare quotes and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers
Work with sales team prospecting for new sales and new accounts
Provide pricing estimates for material packages to customers, assist with bid pricing, expediting of orders
Engage in selling products and services that enhance the client's desired outcome
Communicate with customers on order status, scheduling, and delivery
Help facilitate product knowledge and installation techniques
Actively communicate with our clients in a positive and complete manner
Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers
Willingness to share department responsibilities in order to meet deadlines
Seek opportunities to improve the client's experiences with Ziggy's

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED and six (6) months sales related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous inside sales, service, support experience helpful
Computer skills that include Microsoft Office
Construction knowledge or lumber sales
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Self-motivated and self-managed to maximize time and daily activities
Possess a high level of organization and detailed task review for quality assurance
Positive and cheerful customer service with strong communication skills
Must have valid and current driver's license
