Brewer

Rad Brewing Co in Indianapolis, IN is looking for one Shift Brewer to join our 20 person strong team. We are located on 414 Dorman Street. Pay ranges from $10/hr to $15/hr depending on previous commercial brewing experience.

The Shift Brewer supports the Head Brewer in providing an outstanding product from grain to glass. They are comfortable working long hours on their feet and take pride in the brewing process. The perfect candidate for the Shift Brewer position is friendly, positive, and enthusiastic about finding ways to improve our products and processes, takes pride in organization and cleanliness, and can operate without supervision.

Responsibilities:

*Brew and package beer according to brew schedule *Keep brewing facility clean and functional at all times *Follow cleaning & maintenance schedules *Clean tanks, brewhouse, kegs, pins, packaging line and other equipment *Track inventory counts specifically of finished beer, grain, hops, and other raw materials inventory. *Follow inventory procedures for all raw materials, chemicals, beer, cooperage, small parts, packaging, supplies etc. and report deficiencies to lead brewer. *Assist with organization of product in preparation of outside events as needed *Represent Rad Brewing Co at various events, festivals and promotions *Maintain all required paperwork and records including but not limited to brew logs, inventory sheets, packaging records, recipe sheets, etc.

Requirements:

*Punctual *Must be able and willing to work early mornings, nights, or weekends as needed *Excellent people skills and outgoing personality. *At least 21 years of age. *1-2 years of commercial brewing experience preferred *Forklift certification preferred *Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds. *Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time. *Team player with willingness to complete tasks as assigned. *Hard Worker that will seek out and complete tasks without having to be told. *Must be honest

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $10.00 - $15.00/hour.
