Role Summary:Everything rises and falls on leadership! As the Branch Manager, you are responsible for leading your team to deliver an exceptional member experience and build relationships with our membership to improve their lives. The Branch Manager provides coaching and development for the team, ensures the operational soundness of the branch and the achievement of branch and organizational goals. This position requires vision, innovation, strong business and community partnerships, teamwork and collaboration, accountability, leadership and coaching.
What You Will Be Doing:- Provide exceptional member service in accordance with the NPS established matrix.
- Maintain an up-to-date and extensive knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Maintain a cohesive, highly trained, and motivated staff sufficient to meet member service and department demands.
- Regularly coach and mentor staff through consistent 1:1’s, on the spot coaching, weekly sales meetings and structured development.
- Attend training sessions, conferences and seminars as approved by team leader. Maintain awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities on the branch and staff.
- Oversee scheduling, employment decisions, the progressive disciplinary process, and timely staff evaluations of branch staff.
- Consistently build and maintain business partner relationships within the community.
- Build and maintain a cross-sales culture within the branch with 100% adoption of Member 360.
- Meet or exceed established branch and organizational goals.
- Assist staff and members in solving sophisticated account and lending problems.
- Fill in as needed as a Member Service Associate or Personal Financial Representative.
- Recommend, implement and supervise the budget for the branch. Develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, pricing and processes.
- Promote and support digital banking initiatives which directly support our relationship per member goals.
- Ensure all related policies, processes and procedures are followed and documentation is completed accurately. Supervise the effectiveness of the branch and make suggestions for process improvements as applicable.
- Control risk and manage operations in a safe and sound manner.
- Work with staff and other departments to ensure proper branch security.
- Ensure the branch properly orders and manages vault cash, ATM currency, night drop, verifies cash receipts and keeps a proper level of working cash. Ensure all cash drawers are balanced and closed as prescribed, ensuring all monies and commodities are secured.
- Ensure all branch equipment is properly working at all times.
- Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Provide oversight of the physical facility and property, including general maintenance and upkeep.
- Demonstrate and support credit union values and service standards.

- Ability to multi-task on numerous projects simultaneously.
- Work as a resource on various organizational projects as needed.
- Ability to perform required work under very limited direct supervision.
- Ability to formulate, implement and administer policies and procedures relating to credit union branch operations.
- Establish, teach, monitor and adjust clearly defined goals (both personally and for your team) to achieve objectives.
- Display and maintain a well-balanced understanding of credit union or banking functions, including operations and lending.
- Work with internal audit and compliance to ensure adherence with internal controls and regulations.
- Understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent).
- 6+ years of experience in financial industry preferred.
- 3 – 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory/management experience.
- Ability to work with varying levels of technology.
- Possess high level of personal integrity and ethics.
- Ability to participate in and support a team environment.
- Support community events and business partnerships.
- Proficient with standard office equipment, MS Office, computer and reporting applications, software, and credit union programs.
- Ability to report for work on time and maintain a schedule of regular attendance.
- Project a professional image at all times.
- Some travel may be required to fulfill duties, career development and/or responsibilities.
