Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC), is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Body Shop Service Technician. The role of the Body Shop Service Technician is to perform heavy-duty mechanical repair under general supervision, receive on the job training in a development program to achieve Shop Foreman status.

• Performs skilled and complicated body work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components with minimum supervision.
• Performs trouble shooting on major problems.
• Works with and helps train apprentice technicians.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and properly handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Maintains favorable relations with customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience or vocational training in heavy duty truck repair.
• Positive can do attitude.
• A/C and Brake Certification.
• Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
