Position Summary

You will be at the center of ensuring our patients receive affordable coverage for their health care. This position is vital to our patients and their care team. You will conduct benefit screening and intake assessments for our patients. You will work with our patients to assess their financial situation. Your goal is to assist patients and their families in obtaining maximum healthcare coverage while reducing their out-of-pocket expenses.
Core Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct Benefits Screening, Verification & Enrollment
  • Provide Great Customer Service
  • Have a Patient Orientation and be a Patient Advocate
  • Be a Team Player to advance the goals of our organization in in assisting our patients to better health and improving our communities

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience required
Preferences
  • Prior KidCare and MPE experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, Patient insurance and HMO rules and regulations preferred.
  • Knowledge of EHR and/or EPIC Preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
