Job Description

The Benefits EDI Production Specialist is responsible for sending electronic files to insurance carriers for customers. They will also assist in the EDI process for existing file modification and open enrollment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Submit FTP requests
  • Pull ongoing production files for carriers
  • Data entry of membership changes for carrier requirements
  • Assist with building test files
  • Assist with scenario testing
  • Assist with discrepancy reports
  • Complete carrier questionnaires
  • Copy spin clients
  • Assist with Open Enrollment process for all existing clients
  • Assist with additional projects

Education/Certification:

  • High School Diploma

Experience Required:

  • Customer service mindset, organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, strong computer skills (excel and keying skills)

Skills/Abilities:

  • Good typing skills.
  • Good telephone skills.
  • Well organized.
  • Attention to detail
  • Cooperative and willing to work with others.
  • Customer friendly attitude.
  • Ability to use computer applications, copier, fax machine and telephone.

Nice to Have:
