Human Resource Benefits Administrator Accountabilities Include:

  • Support comprehensive benefit plan for organization, including billing, administration, documentation and claim resolution
  • Provide top-notch customer service to employees over phone, through email and in person
  • Design and implement creative strategies for benefits communication and engagement for diverse and mobile workforce
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and benefit vendors
  • Work closely with SPIN management on benefits-related issues, and advise of plan design improvements and issues
  • Seek out best practices for work/life balance, employee benefits and health/productivity programs
  • Administer leave for employees on disability, FMLA, Leave of Absence, Worker’s Compensation
  • Update HRIS system and payroll with benefits changes, and provide benefits data and metrics as needed
  • Protect and maintain confidential employee information
  • Ensure compliance for all benefits processes
  • Coordinate Open Enrollment, Benefits/Wellness Fair, vendor events , wellness program and other employee engagement events.

The tools you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in health and welfare benefits administration and operations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, own vehicle and insurance
  • Subject matter expert in the benefits field, including but not limited to: Affordable Care Act, FMLA, 403(b), ERISA Regulations
  • High-level communication skills are a must! You will interact with employee in person, via phone and email, through social media and group presentations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
