What will you be doing?

  • On behalf of a global financial services organization, develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Develop IT solutions through backend and front-end applications, batch processing, low latency message processing, data analysis, automated deployment for prime services, and equities business as per development standards.
  • Manage, develop, enhance, and support sync applications, Report generation tool, report metadata extractor, and the services to downstream systems.
  • Understand the requirements from business stakeholders; provide solutions by developing applications, components, and deployable packages.
  • Develop components that consume real-time messages from upstream systems in multithreading and transform the data as per the business requirements.
  • Create Java applications, messages processors, spring boot servers to provide the reference data in real-time, develop batch processor, schedulers as needed by the client applications, and schedule the batch jobs to support the business.
  • Develop high performance solution with high availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop algorithms, reusable components, and solutions, for the reusability within the prime services team.

What we’re looking for:

Must have minimum of Bachelor’s degree (3 or 4 year degree acceptable) or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience as a Senior Manager or related occupation.

Must have at least five (5) years of progressively responsible employment experience with each of the following required skills:

  • Utilizing Java to develop standalone JAVA servers to synchronize data between other dependency systems using real time EMS messages, Web Service calls, and processing files;
  • Designing and developing Java, Spring Boot applications, Hibernate, and AWS Cloud Solutions for reference data required for Prime Services and Equities applications;
  • Knowledge in production application to fix bugs, enhance, and improve the system for stability and high performance;
  • Utilize JBoss to develop and host server applications in JBoss application Servers and scale it with multiple nodes;
  • Proficiency in CHEF to automate infrastructure deployment;
  • Utilizing Jenkins tool to automate build and deployment process of Jboss applications, Spring Boot application, and Java standalone applications and run Continuous Integrations;
  • Work with Tibco EMS to process Product, FX Rates, price data from Upstream systems, parse and schedule report requests from client systems through queues; and
  • Process Trade, Position, and Security messages from IBM/MQ to client systems in order to synchronize data between systems.
