About the Job

This position, AVP Infrastructure Engineering, will be accountable for leading an organization that delivers the compute, storage, network, and foundational technology components (databases, caching, load-balancing, etc.) that are necessary to support a multi-year technology implementation as part of our digital modernization efforts. This leader is also responsible for the roadmap and delivery of key engineering enablers that will be used by all product teams supporting human and self-assist channels. The functional areas the leader is responsible for include cloud and datacenter architecture, engineering, and operations, CI/CD, test enablement and automation, and platform tools, engineering, and operations across all SPT production and non-production environments.

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View

The design, initial implementation, and continuous improvement of the on-premise and cloud infrastructure components/tools and production/non-production environments for the SPT suite of systems and platforms. Responsible for the development and operational functions of the software engineering platform. Designing, developing, and delivering common software engineering and software development assets, including the CI/CD pipeline, seed templates, and framework libraries for Java & Node.js applications, as well as test enablement and automation. Day-to-day management of datacenter & cloud infrastructure, environments & CDN based on provided design blueprints. Ensure software currency/compliance & implementation of infrastructure best-practices. Management of source code repositories and related access management compliance. The productivity improvement enabling toolset for application and service-level monitoring, engineering, and testing. Managing the software eco-system necessary to support infrastructure components, digital engineering tools, development tools and portals, along with those for foundational platforms and CI/CD pipeline functionality. Coaching and development of direct reports, executive material preparation, training, key stakeholdering, relationship building and software / ecosystem partner management.
