Job Description

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for an Aviation Analyst to support Unmanned Aircraft Systems PMO, specifically MQ-1C. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.


Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Analyze maintenance records (score logbooks).
  • Compile scheduled and unscheduled maintenance historical data from Unmanned Aircraft Systems – Initiative (UAS-I) and Aircraft Notebook (ACN) databases and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Advise in UAS maintenance techniques and procedures.
  • Advises on current U.S. Army procedures to inventory, store, and account for received spare parts, sets, kits, and equipment.
  • Identifies UAS unique parts and systems.
  • Provides UAS subject matter expert level advice on U.S. Army maintenance techniques and procedures.
  • Attend meetings and provide input to improve the program.
  • Complete other assigned tasks.

Required Experience:

  • High School diploma with 8 years of related experience, or BS with 4 years of experience.
  • Previous experience as a 15E UAS Repairer/ Technical Inspector or 15W Operator with maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Army Aviation maintenance principles and Army Maintenance Management System – Aviation (TAMMS-A).
  • A working knowledge of UAS-I and ACN.
  • Ability to intelligently converse with all levels of leadership.
  • Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time. US travel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite of productivity tools.
