Hoover Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Moncks Corner's High Volume Service Department is hiring Service Technicians and Lube Technicians to perform vehicle repairs and routine service/maintenance according to skill and certifications. Techs who have achieved certifications are preferred but not required. We will train those who are not certified but qualify for that opportunity.

We are also hiring Detailers to clean the inside and outside of our vehicles, making sure they sparkle and shine!

Responsibilities - Service Technician:

• Perform multi-point inspection and diagnose malfunction(s).
• Estimate time and parts needed for repair/maintenance
• Efficiently repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc., in accordance with dealership standards.
• Install equipment, components, and systems
• Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Keep shop neat and account for dealership owned tools
• Other duties may be assigned according to skill and certifications
  

Responsibilities - Lube Technician:

• Perform multi-point inspection of vehicle including fluids, battery, brakes, belts, tires, etc.
• Change or top off all fluids, check/change oil filter, grease bearings, etc.
• Change, mount, and balance tires, check tire pressure
• Perform light line maintenance / repair
• Keep shop area neat and clean and account for tools
  

Responsibilities - Detailer:

• Wash, Wax, Buff and Detail the interior and exterior of our vehicles
• Vacuum and shampoo seats, carpet and upholstery, clean and treat leather upholstery, etc.
• General clean-up of the shop
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
  

Qualifications:

• Dealership experience is preferred
• A positive attitude, good work ethic and problem-solving skills
• Thrives in a fast paced, team environment
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Must pass pre-employment background check, MVR and drug screen.
