About the role
As an Associate Recruiting Manager – Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, you will be working closely with the Director of Associate Recruiting and the Director of Global Attorney Diversity & Inclusion to support the Recruiting Committee and to administer the firm’s global diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) recruiting programs. Other key responsibilities include:


  • Taking ownership of and acting as the management lead for the firm’s DEI recruiting programs, including various scholarship programs, pipeline programs, and Academies
  • Serving as the Global Recruiting liaison to the Diversity Leadership Committee, collaborating with both attorney and staff members on a variety of projects and subcommittees
  • Supporting the Global Recruiting Committee’s Diversity & Inclusion hiring subcommittee, scheduling meetings, creating agendas, and helping them fulfil their initiatives and goals
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with various student affinity group organizations to enhance the reputation of the firm in the local, regional, and national legal marketplace; managing sponsorships of student affinity groups, including assessing sponsorship packages and lining up attorneys for associated panel presentations and other events
  • Coordinating direct outreach events to underrepresented law students, including organizing Latham affinity group panels

About you

  • Possess excellent leadership skills (e.g., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective management
  • Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Exhibit the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus

And have:


  • A Bachelor’s degree, with a JD, MBA, or other related advanced degree preferred
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant legal DEI recruitment, law school career development, or professional services experience
