Description:

The Associate Product Manager contributes to developing, implementing, and managing the company’s product lines. This person loves sports and is obsessed with understanding the needs of Baden’s customers and converting that insight into market-leading products. This position is part of the product development team at the company's corporate headquarters and collaborates with members of the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure continuity in product offerings and business performance. This person is a great communicator, extremely organized, possesses strong time management skills and embodies our “One Team Winning Together” philosophy in all that they do.

. Requirements:
  • Assist in the development of product strategy to drive revenue and profitability for assigned product lines.
  • Synthesize data into facts and trends that validate company direction on product development.
  • Search for and capitalize on new product opportunities.
  • Contribute to the product development process for new products.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing departments to develop launch programs and ongoing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Regularly perform product pricing and competitive analysis and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality, or reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain product database with product specifications, artwork and catalog copy for dealer, co-op, and online advertising and catalogs programs.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to help facilitate the timely completion of projects.
  • Candidate must currently live in, or be willing to relocate to the Seattle area


Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 2 years of product development, marketing, or product management experience.
  • Knowledge of retail sports industry and products.
  • Previous Sales and Marketing experience desirable.
  • Innovative and creative approach.
  • The ability to analyze and predict market trends.
  • Customer relationship and communication skills.
