Key Responsibilities
As a Process Risk and Controls Associate at RSM, you’ll be asked to consistently:
- Model the core RSM values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence and stewardship in all interactions with clients and team members
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to:
- Obtain an understanding of your clients’ business, including the industries in which they operate
- Identify financial and operational risks and think critically about mitigation through internal controls
- Understand and analyze business processes and provide clients with recommendations for improvement
- Assist in the development and execution of risk assessments, test plans, and client deliverables
- Work collaboratively with others
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner
- Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
- Effectively manage one’s time and prioritize multiple tasks
- Learn and understand RSM’s consulting service lines, methodologies, and resources
- Develop meaningful relationships with team members and client personnel
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or related business discipline
- Preferred GPA: 3.50 or higher
- Qualified to pursue a job relevant certification (e.g. CPA, CIA, CFE)
