BCG’s expertise in Operations covers the following areas - supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing, service operations, cost efficiency, operational transformation, research & product development, program and project management, all with a strong digital and analytics overlay.
What You'll Do
BCG is looking for an Expert Associate Director focused in Digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Supply Chain to help clients enhance their performance and build new capabilities to compete in the digital age. The ideal candidate will have expertise across the supply chain, as well as expertise in digitalizing the core and augmenting human capabilities with AI to achieve a differentiated advantage through the Supply Chain.
The expert Associate Director will work in our Operations (OPS) practice, across geographies and industries to help formalize BCG’s offering and capabilities in Digital and AI in Supply Chain. As a leader of this practice, you will help BCG develop and execute the Go-to-market plan for our formalized digital and AI capabilities in Supply Chain, help companies think beyond the limits of their traditional business models, embed digital and AI capabilities in Supply Chain and drive new sources of value.
In this role, you will advise clients and BCG case teams to identify specific problems and opportunities that can benefit from Digital and AI capabilities in Supply Chain and implement sustainable solutions. In addition, you will produce cutting-edge thought leadership and collaborate with global BCG teams, Digital BCG and our partner ecosystem to develop innovative, tailored, and fully integrated AI solutions to rethink the traditional Supply Chain across industries.

The Expert Consulting Track (ECT) is vital to BCG’s ability to successfully meet our clients’ demand for deep expertise and advanced technical capabilities. Experts deliver next-level impact for BCG's most complex and cutting-edge client challenges. Experts focus on developing BCG's thought leadership, commercial capabilities, and intellectual property assets; and their work is essential to our delivery model. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to bring the ‘best of BCG’ to our clients, Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise often gained outside of BCG in industry, academia, or specialized consulting.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

8 - 10 years of supply chain operations or a technology supplier to operations experience, or a combination of industry and consulting experience (preferred), with a focus on the following:
  • End-to-end planning, including demand, supply and CMOs
  • Logistics, materials management, and warehousing
  • S&OP and Integrated Business Planning
  • Development and deployment of Control Tower technology/capability
  • Understanding of the building blocks for digital twins and the potential use cases
  • Risk management and resilience in the supply chain
  • Managing and working with digital talent (e.g. product owners, data scientists, and engineers)
  • End-to-end project execution support, including training and coaching
  • Established network within supply chain, digital, and/or technology players
  • Proven track record of development and implementation success
  • A track record of significant IP development, are sought out as trusted advisors by senior executives, drive business development, and develop integrated solutions
