Ad Age is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Director, Activation to handle all aspects of program management for our activation and custom programs.

Responsibilities

  • Management and execution of Ad Age custom programs including, but not limited to, sponsored content, white papers, webcasts, videos and digital activations, custom panels
  • Lead team of 2 in managing and balancing daily workload of custom content and post campaign reporting.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills throughout the full program life cycle so all parties are up-to-date on status and goals.
  • Working closely with internal departments such as Ad Age’s Studio 30, Sales, Art, Video and Marketing to ensure all teams are aligned on client goals.
  • Overseeing and optimizing on all program elements—from start to finish—to ensure timelines are met and client objectives are achieved.
  • Delivering detailed post-campaign reporting, analytics and insights and making actionable recommendations.

Basic Requirements

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in market research/program management
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
  • Strong analytic and program management skills
  • Strong leadership, management skills and timely communication internally and externally
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and performance
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences

Preferences

  • Media, advertising, or marketing industry experience a plus
  • Knowledge of SPSS/SAS a plus
  • Proficient with programming research surveys; knowledge of Qualtrics a plus

This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
