Overview:


Lake Effect Vapor is now a part of Infinite Vapor - one of the Midwest's largest CBD and vapor retailers, and we are growing and expanding! We are looking for a qualified Assistant Store Manager to provide leadership in our store, handle daily and weekly managerial duties, and lead our team members to meet our shared objectives.

A great candidate will have strong communication skills who knows how to delight customers and make them feel welcome and respected. A positive and friendly attitude is a must. Our retail sales representatives must ensure that every customer leaves our store satisfied and eager to visit again. Retail sales representatives are also responsible for directly supporting store managers and regional managers, as well as all store-level initiatives.



Responsibilities


  • Assist the Regional Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers and meet or exceed target metric objectives

  • Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)

  • Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our team

  • Ensure team members compliance to policies and procedures and report concerns to upper management

  • Evaluate team member performance and identify hiring and training needs

  • Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs

  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust merchandising

  • Address and resolve customer complaints and grievances

  • Ensure consistent execution of company’s marketing and visual presentation

  • Research emerging products and use information to update the store’s merchandise; provide education and training to fellow team members

  • Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory bulk counts as directed by upper management

  • Purchase inventory based on current trends, availability of products and customer interest

  • Keep daily records of stores sales, damages, deposits, scheduling, employee discounts and new hire paperwork

  • Guarantee all cash drops have been verified and are deposited into store bank account no more than ever three (3) days

  • Verify store security at closing by checking for locked doors, locked safes, and set alarms


Requirements

  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time

  • Comfortable picking up and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs.

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Experience as a retail sales representative or similar role is a plus

  • Familiarity with visual merchandising

  • Ability to stock and restock shelves

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Good organization skills

  • Positive and friendly attitude

  • Ability to successfully work in a team-oriented environment
