Assistant Manager

The assistant manager is a key part of the team and contributes to the success of Papito Moe's through the direction and control of restaurant operations to ensure a positive guest experience and company profitability. The assistant manager is responsible to support the general manager in all operations of the restaurant, support sales and profit objectives, maintain the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation by directing and motivating team members. Your Trabajo/What you will do:

• Ensure excellent guest experience.
• Provide team members and guests with a positive experience and atmosphere
• Direct overall activities and performance of team members on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Inventory Management
• Hands-on team support, where needed.
• Follow the Papito Moe standards as described in the Manager Guide Book
• Maintain the proper atmosphere through music and lighting levels for varying business periods.
• Promote an atmosphere of positive Guest Relations. Build Guest relationships and respond to Guest complaints or concerns professionally and in a timely manner. Responsible for written communications with Guests as directed by the Partner
• Responsible for developing sales and marketing strategies and for implementing, advertising, and promoting campaigns as assigned by the Partner.
• Assist with scheduling, expense tracking, labor management.

What you bring to the team:

• A compassionate leader that care's for their team, shows integrity, exudes positive energy, and cares about quality and the guest experience.
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish), a must!
• Minimum of one year of management and/or leadership experience.
• Two years restaurant experience
• Ability to effectively delegate responsibility
• Conflict resolution skills required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work up to 45 hours per week within our operating hours with the flexibility to work variable shifts throughout the week., typically Sunday and Monday's Off, unless special circumstances arise.
• Position may include walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 55 pounds
• Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
