Assistant Facilities Manager


ROLE:

The Assistant Facilities Manager will be responsible for creating a positive experience by providing a superior level of service to current members, prospective members and guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Record Keeping
    • Review check lists from front desk attendants and cleaners
    • Ensure the items on the check list are being completed
  • Scheduling
    • Work with crew to determine desired shifts and hours per week
    • Update crew schedule/calendar on rolling 6-week schedule
    • Coordinate shift changes and call-offs with crew
  • Inventory
    • Review inventory sheets from front desk attendants and cleaners
    • Ensure vending machines are stocked by front desks
  • Ordering
    • Working with purchasing to ensure facilities are stocked
  • Door Codes
  • Orienting new employees
  • Operations
    • Maintain operations by following and reinforcing policies and procedures
    • Report/suggest policies and procedures that need changes
  • Customer Service
    • Trouble shoot problems that front desk attendants need assistance with
    • Report problems or concerns unable to be taken care of to COO/CEO
    • Respond to member’s concerns in a respectful and timely fashion
  • Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
  • Be knowledgeable on contracts, procedures, promotions, prices etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience as a front desk associate.
  • Computer skills (Windows/iOS/Apple).
  • Great written and communication skills.
  • Polished and presentable.
  • Organized and professional.
  • Excellent multi-tasker.
  • Days, evenings & weekend availability.
  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude
  • Punctuality and reliability is a must.
  • Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Current CPR Certification required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:

  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
