Assistant Director Of Nursing (ADON) RN

Oak Hills Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking ADON RN to come make a difference in our resident's lives!!

The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, and/or the Director of Nursing, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

• Assist DON in hiring, training and monitor nursing team.

• Assist in managing clinical operations of the nursing department.

• Ensure nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.

License/Certification:

RN and be CPR Certified

• Must possess OH RN License and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Knowledge of medical/surgical, geriatric, rehabilitative and restorative nursing; along with current nursing practices and procedures.
• Able to work independently with minimal oversite, be resident care focused, have excellent communication skills and compassion for the nursing home population.
