This position is responsible for answering incoming telephone calls from terminated participants inquiring about the options with their retirement account. The primary goal is to retain assets and offer general investment education to participants including investment theory and how that impacts their retirement planning. The position is also responsible for processing transactions based on the participant’s request.

What you will do

  • Work in a Call Center environment to educate participants in new and on-going employer sponsored retirement plans
  • Focuses on the retention, conversion and accumulation of assets within the client base
  • Offers general investment education to customers including investment theory and how that impacts a participant’s assets and retirement planning
  • Motivates callers to take action as appropriate following a needs-based approach
  • Fosters confidence with each customer interaction and can operate with limited supervision
  • Becomes a stakeholder in the future of our organization – making suggestions that continually improve the way we retain assets for the MM Enterprise
  • Innovates by analyzing current processes and suggest ways to improve them
  • Recognizes problems and turn them in to opportunities

What you will bring

  • 4 Year College Degree
  • FINRA Series 6 required.
  • New employees who do not hold their Series 6 registration are required to obtain the registration at the employer’s expense within a pre-defined time-frame.

What will set you apart

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Current FINRA Series 6 License is strongly preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages a plus
  • Experience with Retirement Plans and Retirement planning
  • Knowledge of market and investment theory and their impact on participant’s retirement planning.
  • Experience with Customer Service and Support resulting in highly satisfied customer results
  • Experience with Sales
  • Experience in a Call Center environment
  • Excellent listening, verbal and oral communication skills
  • Experience communicating ideas, instructions and concepts over the phone

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
