Armed Security Officer/Unarmed Officer

Position: Security Guard

Position Summary:

Cooley's Security Service (Lic# B19466) is looking for both Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Security Officers who can work all shifts, with TXDPS PSB License.

We maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises.

The post are located across the DFW metroplex area.

Job Duties

All officer must be able /have

• Secures premises patrolling property; access points; permitting entry
• Must have all gear and weapon if applicable
• must be drug free. We are a drug free workplace
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to completes reports by recording observations, information and occurrences on DAR
• Make security rounds every 30 minutes

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights, holidays).
• Must maintain valid commission certification or be able to obtain a valid commission.
• Must have their own handgun.
• Ability to accurately record data.
• To stand on your feet constantly during your shift.
• Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings.
• Reliable transportation (is a plus)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
