Multifamily Maintenance Technician:

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, great customer service skills, can work independently, strong leadership qualities, be a great communicator and have an energetic personality. Job Duties:

- Aid the turnover of vacant units.

- Perform service requests for customers.

- Participate in ground maintenance and up keep.

- Paint, clean, and troubleshoot repairs inside apartment homes.

- Evaluate the condition of the vacant units.

- On-call service for after hour's emergencies.

- Basic computer skills for entering and researching purchase orders.

- Participate in the competitive bid process for all property needs.

- Ability to manage and delegate duties to vendors and staff, if applicable.

- Establish and monitor correct scheduling of all aspects of unit make-ready prep.

- Continuously update all maintenance repair logs.

- Oversight of vendor relationship management.

- Monitor and orders supplies as needed with approval of Property Manager

- Other duties as required by Property Manager and Regional Manager. Employee must maintain customer service and customer satisfaction standards as determined by supervisor or manager

-Employee must maintain all production and quality of work standards as determined by supervisor or manager

- Employee must adhere to attendance standards as determined by supervisor or manager

Required Job Skills

- Intermediate plumbing abilities.

- Intermediate electrical knowledge.

- Absolutely must be A/C certified

- Ability to troubleshoot and make appliance & A/C repairs.

- Key and lock replacement.

- Painting, drywall, and carpentry skills.

- A keen eye for details.

- A mentor for subordinates.

- Great with customers.

- The ability to follow-up and follow through with assigned tasks.

- Reliable, meet deadlines, and team player.

- Someone who can communicate a complicated or technical issue in a "plain speak" fashion.

- Applicants must be willing to work at multiple sites, if needed.

- Applicants must have reliable transportation.

- Applicants must be willing and able to work overtime for emergency calls which may include weekends and evenings.

- Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and drivers insurance.

- Applicants must be organized.
