Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and testing processes and controls for both standard systems and custom applications.
  • Experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations and international standards.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
  • Excellent data analysis skills with experience applying statistical methods, SQL, and dashboard design.
  • Experience navigating in ambiguity to develop solutions.

This team balances Google's legal and compliance requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company. As part of this team, you will proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. You will make processes more efficient and scalable, ensure the highest level of quality of our controls, and you proactively minimize risk. You will collaborate with our vendors externally you will collaborate across all parts of Google, from Engineering to other Product Areas internally.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily Anti-Money Laundering operations for our licensed entities globally and manage vendor relationship and off-shore resources.
  • Work with various stakeholders to address issues impacting operations.
  • Monitor internal and external SLAs and maintain accurate goals for all processes in scope.
  • Guide end-to-end process design and new system implementation, collaborating with Product, Engineering and other Compliance teams.
  • Perform analyses to drive process improvement and boost the effectiveness of our controls.
