Anesthesia Technician PRNCall Coverage - Weekday Evenings & Nights

Seeking an Anesthesia Technician for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. The Anesthesia Technician responsibilities include:
  • provides support services for anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • assists professional staff during the provision of anesthesia as required
  • applies knowledge of specialized instruments, equipment, and supplies used in the provision of anesthesia for surgery
  • applies basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and principles of growth and development as required to assist in anesthesia preparation/supply selection
  • assists with transport of patients, supplies, and equipment to and from the surgical suites
  • performs routine cleaning of OR suites between cases

Qualifications

Education/Skills
  • Certified as Anesthesia Technician, preferred

Experience
  • Basic medical terminology
  • Minimum of 2 years in the anesthesia technician role

Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications
  • Current BLS
  • Cell saver certification, preferred
  • Participation in professional organization, preferred
