Job Summary:
The Analyst, Trade Compliance & Operations will provide guidance to departments on logistics and trade compliance and ensure that the company is in compliance with Government Agency requirements.


Required Education/Experience
:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Transportation, Supply Chain related field, or relative experience in International Trade required
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in International Trade, Transportation, or Trade Compliance related role
  • Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist preferred


Preferred Skills/Qualifications
:


  • General knowledge of purchasing procedures
  • Familiarity with Incoterms
  • International Logistics experience preferred
  • Working experience of International Government Regulations related to tax, trade, and imports/exports
  • Planning, organization, and execution skills
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, results oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a professional collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to various departments on international logistics and trade compliance – including purchasing, sales, customer service, and R&D
  • Ensure company imports are compliant with CBP import regulations such as HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification, valuation, country of origin, assists, recordkeeping, ADD/CVD, special trade programs, and partner government agency declarations
  • Review free trade agreement qualifications and issue certificates as needed
  • Perform post-entry validations for imported shipments/entries
  • Maintain operational and compliance KPIs
  • Classify products for import (HTS) and export (ECCN)
  • Less than 10% Travel
