DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The Analyst Relations (AR) and Market strategy team is responsible for building relationships with analysts and market influencers that meaningfully inform MuleSoft’s go-to-market and product strategies and elevate the company’s brand and mindshare with customers and partners. Each AR and Market Strategy leader is a strategic communications professional with broad expertise marketing strategy.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
At MuleSoft, the Analyst Relations (AR) and Market Strategy team is responsible for cultivating strategic relationships with leading analysts and influencers that elevate MuleSoft’s visibility and advance its product and go-to-market strategy. Our team is looking for an AR and Market Strategy Manager to lead analyst strategy for our RPA and automation products and go-to-market. In this role, you will be a strategic partner to our analysts and our executives for a critical market segment with enormous opportunity for growth.

YOUR IMPACT (RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Lead, and drive the global RPA and automation analyst strategy and programs that increase analyst understanding of our capabilities and competitive differentiation and enhances our product offerings and go-to-market execution. This includes,

    • Defining and overseeing the execution of MuleSoft’s end-to-end analyst engagement strategy for a regular cadence of inquiries, analyst days, events, and briefings

    • Leading MuleSoft’s response to major analyst evaluations (Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves, and more) and requests for information through coordination with internal stakeholders including product marketing, product management, and senior executives

    • Serving as a trusted partner internally providing first-level feedback and guidance to spokespeople and senior executives

    • Actively synthesizing and sharing insights from analyst engagements, reports, and data to team members across product, business development, and broader marketing teams.

  • Develop and formalize international and vertical / industry analyst relations strategy and programs that broaden MuleSoft’s reach to analyst communities in prioritized, high-growth regions (JAPAC) and industries (Financial Services and Healthcare).

  • Partner with Customer Marketing and Customer Success to evolve an evergreen customer analyst relations strategy to support analyst ranking evaluations and peer review platforms and infuse customer voice into our analyst programs.

  • Jointly manage cross-team AR operations that create critical scale for analyst programs. This includes rationalizing budget, managing analyst contract negotiations, maintaining program trackers, and managing event logistics for analyst programming at MuleSoft events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-4 years analyst relations experience or experience in a strategic relationship development role, preferably in high-tech.

  • Commitment to understanding market fundamentals and technology for a complex and rapidly changing segment

  • A reputation as a self-starter adept at working with executives in a cross-functional environment to drive consensus on strategy and messaging.

  • Proven track record of successfully scaling cross-functional programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and relatively unstructured work environment.

  • Ability to multi-task and quickly prioritize projects and communicate priorities to stakeholders

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as interpersonal skills.

  • A positive, flexible attitude and a very, very good sense of humor.
