NYP is seeking an Analyst supporting Physician Contract Administration to join an excellent academic health system with two affiliated Medical Schools Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia Doctors.

The Analyst will be part of a team of healthcare professionals that support providers to deliver the highest quality of care to the New York City Metro Area partnering with Regional and Academic Facilities across the network. Reporting directly to the Manager Contract Administration for the NYP Medical Groups, the Analyst will be administering and evaluating provider compensation program operations including incentive offerings for all providers in the Medical Groups and its affiliates including both hospital and office based medical and procedural providers.

  • Administer incentive and other contractual physician compensation activities and facilitate physician recruitment transactions
  • Complete Fair Market Value (FMV) evaluation and analysis and conduct regular compensation review with medical group leaders to support renewals, contract adjustments, and new arrangements.
  • Administer Continuing Medical Education (CME) and call coverage payment tracking and submissions.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for physicians and administrators regarding billing data, access metrics and other related physician and practice KPIs
  • Collaborate with team members involved in physician recruitment, business development, quality, legal, human resources and provider onboarding to facilitate provider contracting process and ensure accurate tracking of provider onboarding and off-boarding.

This is a full time Monday-Friday Hybrid position- remote and office based at 466 Lexington Avenue, NY NY

Required Criteria:

  • At least two years of advanced professional experience in a large medical group practice involved in provider compensation and administration with an emphasis on incentive design, and program administration.
  • In depth understanding of professional billing data, quality programs/metrics and other related physician and practice KPIs
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Criteria:

  • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Math, Economics or Statistics
