As an analyst, you'll be supporting the finance team in working with On Location leadership team across our sports, music, and cultural events to provide timely, data-driven reporting and insights to inform decisions around some of the most exciting live experiences in the country - from the Super Bowl to our Mexico music festivals to the NCAA Final Four + Tournament
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analysis of operational and financial data, including monthly financial analysis, ongoing event / client projections, reforecasting, variance analysis, channel and product analysis, pipeline analysis
- Support pricing and scenario analyses as well as overall event P+L development
- Identify, consolidate, clean, and manage data from multiple sources
- Prepare monthly event P+Ls and provide variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year
- Support budget and forecast builds by summarizing actuals as a baseline to inform those strategic planning discussions
- Support cash forecasting and tracking of cash inflows/outflows
- Support the P+L leaders and finance by working to extract, clean, and model data inputs
- QA and troubleshoot data
- Support strategic initiatives as well as new business development initiatives as needed
Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel throughout the year. This position may require extensive travel.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience required- 1-2 years of relevant, professional experience
- Ideal background experience include but are not limited to investment banking, consulting, or corporate FP+A
- Able to summarize information into insights using a mix of data presentation and visualization techniques
- Excellent excel and modeling skills; capable in PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
- Knowledgeable about data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques
- Comfortable making assumption to help navigate inconsistent or incomplete data sources
- Excellent attention to details
- Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, MATLAB) a plus
- Familiarity with SQL a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight) a plus
