SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
As a Quality Engineer, you will be leading by example while creating many manual test scenarios, text execution frameworks and work with automated team to help integrate manual tests into our DevOps pipelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensures all software solutions and enhancements are fully tested, debugged and meet product quality standards prior to release to QA
  • Ensures all projects are delivered on time and within a high level of corporate quality standards
  • Ensures all critical system issues are communicated prior to release approval
  • Coordinates work and services with other departments, contract service providers, and vendors
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or other applicable field or equivalence
  • 2 or more years in software engineering and software testing, including demonstrated experience developing and validating client facing client server and web applications
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QALC (Quality Assurance Life Cycle)
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Postman
  • Experience in creating, designing manual test cases
  • Experience in documenting and communicating defects across multiple functional areas
  • Experience in Black Box testing, Functional Testing, System testing, Integration
  • Experience in working with automation team members to help create and identify test cases for regression and smoke testing
  • Understanding and experience with both Agile, SCRUM and Kanban approaches
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with advanced web browser-based UI tools to help trouble shoot defects and reduce bug turnaround time
  • Experience with Windows environment
  • Experience collaborating with a mix of full-time employees and contractors
  • Experience with large, complicated enterprise-type products
TRAVEL
Minimal travel may be required.
