Job Description
The Vice President is a member of the North America Institutional Marketing team, which focuses on understanding client needs and helping build integrated marketing strategies alongside the sales teams, leveraging the Centers of Excellence of the firm. This candidate will create and execute institutional marketing initiatives across several client segments, including defined benefit plans (corporate and public pension plans, multi-employer pension plans), endowments and foundations, healthcare companies and consultants. The Vice President will report to an Institutional Marketing Manager and create the market strategy and drive the execution of initiatives targeted to this line of business and focus clients.

Key responsibilities

This position is responsible for projects and initiatives within the North America Institutional channel, working to deliver against the sales and business goals of the channels. The key responsibilities of the job include:
  • Develop and execute on the marketing plans and initiatives identified for the channel, leveraging all of the marketing "levers" to amplify voice and presence in market.
  • Interact closely with the sales teams to develop and deliver on the marketing strategies defined for the line of business.
  • Drive the agenda for client events (in-person and digital)-from coordination to follow up programs
  • Project management - proactively manage client-specific marketing projects
  • Leverage digital outreach activities and identify ways in which we can apply at firm level and client segmentation.
  • Assist in measurement/reporting of marketing activities-helping to qualify successes/develop action steps/identify lessons learned/best practices.
  • Understand and navigate the Marketing platforms required to execute the role.

Minimum job requirements
  • College degree in marketing or related field with at least three to five years of project management experience.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical skills to help track, measure and interpret success/strategy of marketing programs.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Strong execution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with senior management and sales organizations.
