- Recent NP graduates
- PA students / Recent Graduates with 1+ years of MA/EMT experience
- Experience in UR, ER, Acute Care settings highly preferred

- This role can lead to an APP Fellowship (Advanced Practice Provider) position where you can continue to learn through Didactics and immediately apply it in a work setting
- Contingent on successful completion and position availability, Fellows could be considered for an Advanced Practice Provider role with CommunityMed

- Although you will have a primary clinic you report to, candidates should be open to taking occasional shifts at any of the above locations
- Hours of Operation: Monday - Saturday: 7:30am - 8:00pm and Sundays 11:30am - 8:00pm
- Must be available to work rotating weekends
- 1 on-call shift per month - must answer a call within 30 mins between hours of 7am-2:00pm that day

- Recent graduate of NP/PA program or active enrollment with graduation on or before 12/2022
- 2+ years of experience in UR, ER, or Acute Care setting is a plus
- Current BLS Certification
- DOT Drug/BAT certification within 30 days of start date - CommunityMed can assist with this
- It is the sole responsibility of the employee to maintain any and all certifications, registrations, or requirements necessary as outlined by your licenses or educational programs. Failure to do so may result in termination as these are necessary for employment with CMUCS.
- Arrive to shift on time – 7:30am Monday – Saturday; 11:30am Sunday, unless otherwise noted.
- Room and triage patient; recording set information including vital signs.
- Performing physical examinations, as well as and tracking heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
- Interpreting health measurements, administering prescribed medication, and facilitating suitable treatment.
- Explaining treatments, procedures, and after-care instructions, as well as answering patients' questions.
- Ability to perform venipuncture and draw for labs.
- Ability to start IV lines and perform drug dose titration
- Interpreting laboratory test results and collaborating with physicians on treatment plans.
- Reporting deteriorating conditions to primary healthcare specialists without delay.
- Maintaining and updating medical charts, patient files, and health records.
- Keeps supplies ready by stocking rooms, inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receipt.
- Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Perform occupational medicine testing.
- Educates patients on additional ways our clinic can help them.
- Be able to identify any facility or clinic issues and place a help desk ticket.
- Ensure every Tuesday, Occupational Med supplies are ordered and submitted for approval.
- Adhere to HIPAA and all other applicable federal and state mandates.
- Contact Medical Technician Manager in an event of an emergency call-in.
- Contact Medical Technician Manager with any issues, questions, etc. pertaining to the clinic or your shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays shifts are regularly 12 hours on all days except Sunday which is an 8-hour shift.
- Strong organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to be patient, possess compassion, and uphold patient confidentiality is a must.

- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with physicians, management, all staff members and patients.

- Ability to respond quickly, physically and mentally when priorities and /or the patient’s condition changes.
- Must be able to work with and enter accurate information into such software as MS Word and Excel.
