Position Summary

This position will be in our Wound Care Clinic. Wound care experience preferred, not required.

Under the direction of a physician and within the defined scope of practice, provides general medical care and treatment to clinic patients. Scope of practice includes diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive health care services, treatment of minor injuries and minor surgeries.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner

• Graduate from school of nursing approved by the Nevada State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practitioner of Nursing (APN)
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Nevada
• Advanced Practitioner of Nursing (APN) licensure with prescribing and dispensing privileges in the State of Nevada
• Current DEA and Nevada State Board of Pharmacy controlled substance certificate

• Graduate from Physician Assistant Program accredited by ARC-PA
• National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification required
• Physician Assistant licensure with prescribing and dispensing privileges in the State of Nevada
• Current DEA and Nevada State Board of Pharmacy controlled substance certificate
