    Responsibilities

    This position provide full range of administrative support for the Business Operations Office.; manage and coordinate the secretarial functions of the Business Operations Office to ensure an efficient operation; and provide coordination of administrative activities. Provides expert administrative and clerical support for divisional leadership. Ensures consistent application of administrative policies and procedures, and use of administrative tools. Oversees work done by other ZS level administrative staff and contractors within the division. Provides guidance to staff on work assignments, objectives, priorities, and deadlines. Conducts training of new support staff. Serves as principal administrative liaison to OU Administrative Officer and administrative staff within ADMR, ADLP and the Directors Office.

    Qualifications

    All applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 (ZA-1 for NIST) federal level. Specialized experience is defined as experience carrying out multiple administrative assignments; assisting with writing and interpreting guidelines, analyzing options, and applying resolution to problems that arise; experience completing reports and/or making recommendations to management or higher level administration; AND experience in researching background information for reference and program materials.

    Master's or equivalent graduate degree

    OR

    2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

    OR

    LL.B. or J.D., if related


    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    This position allows you to qualify and be considered based on your education.
