Administrative Assistant/Social Media Manager

Considering candidates who are local to the Dallas Fort Worth area. ONLY candidates with a BACHELORS DEGREE or EQUIVALENT at the time of application will be considered.

This is a contract part time position at a monthly pay rate. There will be the opportunity for a monthly pay rate increase, under favorable conditions, 3 to 4 months after start date. In the future, there may be the opportunity for the candidate to earn commissions on sales.

We require a short, "trial work period" so that both parties can determine whether they work well together before the contractual work period would begin. Details of this trial period will be discussed.

Hiring contract administrative assistant with specific expertise in digital marketing/social media marketing techniques - for an art gallery and art import company.

Duties are various: brand development, social media posting and managing all customer interaction and related sales activity for an Etsy store. Various other administrative duties.

Assistant must be available mornings and/or early afternoons…perhaps some weekend availability.
Must have car.
MUST BE LOCAL to the DFW area and helpful if candidate lives near the Downtown Dallas area.
The position will begin on a part time, contract, basis – to potential grow into a full-time position if the candidate and employer agree.

Candidate responsibilities include, but not exclusively:

- Conduct a variety of administrative/data entry and related tasks.

- Marketing and Social Media specialist who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The successful candidate will assist in the development of marketing campaigns and coordinate marketing strategy implementation. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and posting social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between customers and the company. The candidate will report directly to the owner and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned marketing programs and social media communication.

- Photograph inventory for sale and style, edit photos for posts using Adobe Photoshop and other digital photo editing software.

The candidate will also assist the owner to create and manage an Etsy store and other e commerce platform stores.

- Research projects.
- Interacting with customers at gallery location (near Downtown Dallas)

Candidate Skills:

- fluency with Photoshop, Lightroom
- proficient with social media, social media marketing, influencer marketing
- fluent with ecommerce platforms like Etsy, Chairish, Shopify
- proficient with Microsoft 10 and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, et al)

- proficiency with some accountancy software like Quickbooks will be helpful but not necessary
- proficient with Android OS
- specific expertise in online/digital marketing, marketing strategies and branding
- prior sales experience is preferable
