Posting DetailsPosition Title Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs
Job DescriptionThe Administrative Assistant reports to and assists the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and will interact extensively with the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, current students, staff, and faculty. The Administrative Assistant will also assist with other special projects as assigned by the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will provide clerical support to the Chapman Distinguished Professor of Law as needed.
Required QualificationsSpecialized secretarial/clerical training, minimum five years of progressive administrative experience; proficiency utilizing a personal computer with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software; strong ability to work with minimal supervision and self-motivated; ability to maintain confidentiality; attentiveness to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively prioritize and coordinate office responsibilities and projects; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; demonstrated effectiveness in working with a diverse group of people
Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated familiarity with the University’s Colleague Information System, website management, Image Now; some college coursework; and proficiency in grammar.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
