Position Overview
Acacia is a diverse team of therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners and support staff who are dedicated to the care we provide and we are looking to grow our team! We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant who values and supports collaboration, is passionate about creating inclusive spaces, and would like to be a part of Acacia’s journey towards reimagining college mental health.
This is a part-time position that would be scheduled up to 18 hours a week. We are looking for an individual that is available to work Monday - Thursday from 2:00pm - 6:30pm. $17/hour.Responsibilities:What You’ll Be Doing
  • Adhere to HIPAA policies and honor patient confidentiality
  • Provide assistance in the day-to-day administration of the office
  • Greet and direct visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer, screen and respond to incoming phone calls from clients, potential clients and referrals
  • Schedule and maintain client and provider schedules
  • Maintain effective and professional communications with clients via text, email, face-to-face and phone
  • Conduct insurance verifications
  • Receive and process copay collections
  • Assist the Office Manager in payment reconciliation and outstanding balance collections
  • Front office duties: opening/closing the office, light stocking and cleaning
  • Additional administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:Education, Experience & Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent
  • 1 + years of experience in an administrative or organizational support role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technologically proficient + confident navigating G-Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Meets, etc.)
