General Description:
Receptionist for the Office of International Student Services.

Duties and Tasks:
Duties include but are not limited to: answering general questions about admission process for international students, routing phone calls, sorting mail, answering incoming calls, responding to emails, arranging appointments for customers to meet with advisors. Staff member will also be responsible for entering data in ACCESS database, will utilize Perceptive Content and SIS to scan applications. Responsible for the maintenance of office files, will draft correspondence, will help office manager with organization of supply cabinet and student files.
Minimum Qualifications Required KSAs:
Ability to perform multiple tasks quickly and efficiently in addition to answering phone calls.
Able to maintain a positive and tactful demeanor and disposition.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience with Word, Excel, and Zoom – hosting and database software.

Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience working in an office environment
  • Previous administrative experience in higher education
  • Significant experience using Microsoft Excel, MS Outlook, Zoom
  • Proficiency in a foreign language or international travel experience
