The Administrative Assistant supports the business office function in the community, including tasks related to human resources, purchasing, risk and legal as well as IT. This position will also serve as the receptionist, answering phones and directing visitors as appropriate, while delivering great customer service and first impressions.

What you will be doing:

  • Greeting guests, answering the phone, and providing great customer service and first impressions.
  • Maintaining and updating personnel records including new hire paperwork, ongoing training, licenses and annual reviews.
  • Assisting associates with the time clock, exception reports and related payroll questions.
  • Providing light IT support to the community, such as coordinating new associate IT account set-up, maintaining records of devices, and assisting associates with questions/connecting them to the company’s IT support desk.
  • Maintaining various records, logs, and meeting minutes to support the community leadership team, the associates, and the home office.
  • Helping department leaders with their job openings and candidate pre-hire tasks.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least one year of experience dealing with the public via telephone and in person
  • Possesses strong computer skills – especially Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Has a strong ability to multi-task
  • Has a high school diploma or GED
  • Is ethical, honest, dependable and open-minded
