ProMedica, a large not-for-profit, integrated health-care system has opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join a team of dynamic neurology specialists. We are seeking an Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join our team in Monroe, MI! Our ideal provider is embedded in the Monroe community and has a passion to enhance the health and well-being of the area.

Now is the perfect time to join our neurosciences team and be a significant part of growing our Neurosciences Program. ProMedica and the University of Toledo Medical Center are developing a comprehensive neurology program which draws from 28 counties throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Opportunities will exist in Ohio & Michigan, within and around regional / satellite practices.

Job Requirements:

PA -

  • Masters degree
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Michigan (PA-C)
    • Critical care, ICU, and bedside experience preferred
    • Neurosurgery/spine experience is a plus
  • Certificate of Authority to practice is required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
  • Post offer pre-employment required to include tobacco / drug screen / nicotine testing

ACNP -

  • Masters of nursing (MSN) degree.
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Michigan
  • Acute Care Certification Required
    • Critical care, ICU, and bedside experience preferred
