Adelaida Vineyards & Winery is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk. Adelaida is located in the mountainous terrain of Paso Robles and is built on a vision of excellence; for wine, for community, and for the environment. Our goal is to produce the most distinct and compelling wines from our estate vineyards and provide our guests with a world-class experience.
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for assisting with all accounts payable functions, month-end closings, semi-annual physical inventory and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
The position operates in a fast-paced, diverse and hands-on environment. As the company continues to grow the Accounting Clerk needs to be able to adapt quickly and meet the changing needs.
She/he must be able to work well independently, as well as in a highly collaborative team environment.
Candidates must be hands-on, proactive, customer service oriented, aspires to achieve, passionate, adaptable and flexible.
. Requirements:
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable entry daily into Navision and Great Plans accounting systems.
- Match receiving documents to confirm delivery.
- Prepare and submit invoices for management approval.
- Maintain vendor files and documentation.
- Reconcile credit card statements.
- Assist with semi-annual physical inventory counts
- Participate in various on-going projects
- Provide office administration support and other miscellaneous duties as needed.
Requirements and Skills Necessary for the Position:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience (general ledger and accounts payable). Experience in the food, wine or manufacturing industry a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy rate.
- Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong personal leadership skills, including problem-solving and analytical skills
- Mid-size ERP system experience. Experience with Navision and/or Great Plains is a plus.
