Account Resolution Specialist:

The Account Resolution Specialist (ARS) is responsible for handling inbound/outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner to contact consumers to negotiate payment of a past due account.

It is imperative that our associates work within federal, state and client guidelines/laws. Our team utilizes various computer systems to access customer information, update information, as verified, accept payments and service the customer with any questions or issues that they may have.

Schedule/Hours - Flexible for YOUR LIFE:

Full time, 37.5 - hours per week nonexempt position

Primarily day shifts- Day shifts normally start between 8am - 9am

We do require you build the following shifts into your schedule:

1 night per week until 8pm (Mon OR Tues- you choose)
1 night per week until 6pm (Weds OR Thurs- you choose)
1 Friday night per month until 5pm
1 Friday night per month until 8pm

Minimum Requirements: (*You must possess the following to be considered)

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum (1) one year of proven experience in customer service, * Will consider previous experience from a banking, sales, call center, restaurant or other customer service-related position if you have steady work history
  • Intermediate computer and keyboard skills (ability to use video conferencing technology for training: zoom)
  • Must pass client clearance requirements, up to and including, background checks and drug test
  • Ability to meet client scheduling requirements
  • Must be dependable- steady employment with no unexplainable gaps
  • Reliable internet connection with the ability to connect company provided equipment to a router is required *we will verify upload/download speeds
  • Home office space must be quiet and distraction free- No exceptions
  • Must have reliable transportation to attend orientation, and as needed presence in the office for various meetings, training, or equipment needs

*If hired, you must complete required training, including but not limited to annual certifications in accordance with client requirements and FDCPA laws and regulations.

Physical / Mental Requirements:

  • Home office space must be quiet and distraction free
  • Must be able to work with IT representatives to troubleshoot connectivity issues - This includes physically coming into the office as needed.
  • Ability to speak proper English grammar and use proper telephone customer service etiquette
  • Close vision required (clear vision on 15 inch or larger computer monitors for long periods of time)
